We are seeking passionate and newly graduated nurses to join our supportive Registered Nurse Graduate program with a specialist module in acute care.
The program is designed to consolidate your clinical skills and leadership capability in a structured, supportive and caring environment while providing you with mentorship and exposure to the many rewarding facets of a nursing career in aged care.
About the ProgramThis stream is open to newly graduated Registered Nurses (within 12 months of graduation). Places in our program are offered on a full-time basis, working 38 hours per week.
The program commences with availability in our metro Melbourne and Sydney homes and runs for 24 months, with a focus on both aged care and acute setting learning and experience.
You will have four, 3-month long placements over the first 12 months, covering the following areas of nursing:
- Assessment & care planning of the older person
- Complex health care needs
- Caring for residents living with dementia
- Leadership
In the second year, you will have the opportunity to expand on your clinical learnings through a 3-month secondment into an acute setting.
RequirementsTo be eligible for this program, you must have:
- Bachelor of Nursing, with an AHPRA registration
- High level interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Clinical knowledge and problem-solving abilities
- Solid understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements of the role
- Well-developed time management skills
- Able to commit to the 24-month duration of the Program

Our estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per annum.
