Care Home Community Lead

The Community Lead position within our Residential Care Homes at Barchester Healthcare is a vital part of our team. As a senior-level care professional, you will play a key role in making our residents' lives stimulating and fulfilling.
You will lead and supervise a team of Carers and Senior Carers, ensuring they deliver person-centred care and support that respects our residents' independence, privacy, dignity, and choice.
The Community Lead role involves some clinical responsibilities, including recording observations on weight and blood pressure, and carrying out simple wound dressing procedures.
Responsibilities- Leading and supervising a team of Carers and Senior Carers
- Delivering person-centred care and support to residents
- Recording observations on weight and blood pressure
- Carrying out simple wound dressing procedures
Estimated Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum
Requirements- Senior-level care experience
- Experience in supervising others
- Providing clinical care for older people
- A Level 3 NVQ or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
- Willingness to undertake the assessor qualification
