Job Overview

The 5 Dimensions Trust is a renowned educational institution committed to delivering exceptional learning experiences. We are currently seeking an Education Support Professional to join our team at The Hazeley Academy.

In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting students with mobility, learning, or social and communication difficulties. Your primary responsibility will be to work alongside the Excellence Department to ensure seamless access to learning for all children.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills who can build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents. If you have experience working with children with SEND needs or are eager to develop your skills in this area, we encourage you to apply.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term position to provide Maternity Leave Cover, commencing as soon as possible. You will work on a part-time basis, approximately 32.5 hours per week, from 8:15 am to 3:15 pm, Monday to Friday, with a daily 30-minute unpaid break.

The contract will run until 10 November 2025. During this time, you will be required to work term-time plus training days (approximately 39 weeks per year).

Your salary will be £18,212.00 - £19,147.00 per annum, which is based on the actual salary range for this position.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Working closely with teachers to develop tailored support plans for students with SEND needs
  • Providing one-to-one assistance to students, pre-teaching or recapping skills already learned
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and adapting support strategies as needed
