We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Support Professional to join our team at The Redway School. As a Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Job Details

  • Teaching assistant working with students with SEN

The ideal candidate will have high expectations and plenty of energy to work with children, be resilient, patient, and able to positively support our pupils.

You will work closely with other teaching assistants and the class teacher, so effective communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting students with SEN in the classroom
  • Assisting with lesson planning and preparation
  • Communicating effectively with students, parents, and staff
  • Maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary range of £18,518 - £21,818 per annum
  • Full-time contract with Monday to Friday working hours
