About the Role:

Fenwick Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commis Chef to join our team in Bracknell. As a Commis Chef, you will play a key role in delivering a consistently high standard of quality food, using knowledge of food and hospitality trends to drive sales and contribute to a fantastic customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of food trends, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and high standards of food quality.
  • Participate in menu planning and development, ensuring dishes are innovative, appealing, and meet customer expectations.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for food, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
