About the Role

CH&Co Catering Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Lambrook. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of evening meals for our boarding community, as well as supporting the Head Chef and team during the school lunchtime period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Assist in planning and preparing menus for evening meals, ensuring a home-from-home dining experience for our boarding community.
  • Chef Support: Provide support to the Head Chef and team during the school lunchtime period, including preparation, service, and other ad-hoc duties.
  • Saturday Service: Work 8 Saturdays over the academic year to provide breakfast and lunch for pupils and staff, as well as assisting with Lambrook's famous 'match tea' for pupils and parents from visiting schools.
  • Stock Management: Assist with stock takes and ensure that all deliveries are checked and recorded in line with company policy.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, ensuring compliance with company requirements.
