Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Operative to join our Housekeeping Department at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hospital, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff.

Main Responsibilities
  • Carry out cleaning and associated duties as specified in procedural documents and schedules.
  • Deliver exceptional cleaning services to all areas of the hospital, including clinical, residential, office, and entrance areas.
  • Work collaboratively as a team member to achieve the Trust's objectives.
  • Deal with the public and work under pressure to provide excellent customer service.
  • Be physically able to undertake all duties and comply with relevant Trust policies.
