Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Operative to join our team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Housekeeping Department, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and clean environment for our patients and staff.

Main Responsibilities

As a Housekeeping Operative, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the hospital, including clinical, residential, office, corridor, and entrance areas.
  • Delivering exceptional cleaning standards while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
  • Working as a team member to achieve the Trust's objectives.
  • Dealing with the public and ability to work under pressure.
  • Being physically able to undertake all duties and complying with relevant Trust policies.
  • Being reliable, punctual, and a strong communicator.
