Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Education Support Specialist at Future Education in Richmond Upon Thames.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and eager to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of students.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting teachers with classroom activities, working one-on-one or in small groups with students who need additional help, and contributing to creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Students with Special Educational Needs: Assist teachers in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students.
  • Prepare Teaching Materials: Create engaging and interactive teaching materials to support student learning and encourage participation.
  • Help Manage Classroom Behavior: Work collaboratively with teachers to create a positive and respectful classroom environment that promotes student engagement and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Passion for Education: A genuine enthusiasm for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
  • Patience and Teamwork: The ability to work patiently and collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
