About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at The Trees Short Breaks service. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to adults with a learning disability and Autism Spectrum disorder.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide day-to-day support, assisting with personal care, promoting choice and control, and maximizing independence. You will work closely with our team to create and implement Care and Support plans, ensuring effective care is delivered throughout the service.

We are looking for individuals who share our values and are committed to providing exceptional care and support. As a Support Worker, you will receive comprehensive training and support to help you develop your skills and confidence. You will work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, with opportunities for progression and professional growth.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care and support. You will be responsive to the changing needs of our service, able to work flexibly, and participate in a staff rota that includes weekends and bank holidays. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to write clear and concise records.
