About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Voyage Care. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with complex needs, including autism, acquired brain injury, and mental health conditions.

Our supported living service provides a welcoming and friendly environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of our service users. You will work closely with a dynamic team to support individuals in gaining more independence in their daily lives, teaching them new life skills, and encouraging them to access their local communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with complex needs
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and managing finances
  • Encourage and support individuals to access their local communities, socialize, and engage in activities
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals with mental health conditions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full UK driving license
  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs, including autism, acquired brain injury, and mental health conditions
  • Ability to work flexibly and be resilient in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
