Corporate Strategy and M&A Analyst, Global Group

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum

In this role as a Corporate Strategy and M&A Analyst, you will play a critical part in driving the company's long-term growth strategy. You will support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) initiatives, corporate strategy projects, and other strategic transactions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in executing M&A transactions, including due diligence, financial analysis, and transaction structuring, while coordinating with external advisors.
  2. Conduct valuation analysis and financial modeling for acquisition targets, joint ventures, and strategic investments.
  3. Prepare detailed presentations and investment memos for executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
  4. Conduct in-depth market research to identify market trends, competitive dynamics, and potential acquisition targets or partnership opportunities.
  5. Develop actionable insights and recommendations to support the company's long-term growth initiatives.
  6. Collaborate on post-merger integration, tracking acquired assets' performance, and reporting on post-merger synergies.

Requirements for the Role:

  1. 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or management consulting with a focus on M&A transactions.
  2. Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and deal structuring for M&A transactions.
  3. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.
