Job Title: Corporate Reporting Expert

Our client, a renowned corporate reporting agency, is seeking an experienced Corporate Reporting Expert to join their team. Based in the UK, this role will involve working closely with regulators, industry bodies, and clients to provide expert advice on corporate and sustainability reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape and be able to navigate complex reporting requirements. Experience in communication roles, preferably in corporate reporting or financial PR, is essential. Familiarity with Annual Reports as produced by quoted UK companies and what makes for effective reporting and communication of strategic and operational information to investors and other stakeholders is also required.

This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work with listed companies, presenting and providing advice on best practice corporate reporting and communication. The role involves conducting deep dive research into the corporate communications of clients to assess their current approach, content, and overall effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shaping corporate reporting suites in line with current and forthcoming disclosure requirements
  • Providing best practice strategic advice on corporate reporting, ESG, and wider communication to clients and new business prospects
  • Developing strategic communications presentations and interim assessments of Annual Reports supported by peer analysis; benchmarking; content audits, and guidelines
  • Participating in client workshops, presentations, and external events on best practice communication
  • Helping present the agency's wider communications offer to existing clients and demonstrating the value of developing an impactful communications framework and plan
