Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team at Amazon UK Services Ltd. As a key member of the Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our warehouse and delivery network.

Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing technologies within the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network. This includes conducting preventative maintenance on time to a high standard, providing high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities
• Work in a hands-on manner and demonstrate Subject Matter Expert (SME) levels of knowledge on all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in the building.
• Coach and mentor technicians on shift, supporting continuous improvement of systems in a standard manner across the EU network.
• Understand and manage Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and equipment performance metrics, as well as manage contractors and escalations to specialist subcontractors where required.
• Manage critical spare parts inventory utilizing an EAM system, co-ordinate/execute planned preventative maintenance on MHE equipment within the site, and prioritize multiple projects and workload effectively.

Requirements
• Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject.
• Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines with relevant experience in automation or complex tasks, solid foundational knowledge of PLC-based control systems, and ability to communicate (written & verbal) in English and local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.
