Automation Systems Design Lead

Job Overview
Newton Colmore Consulting is partnered with a start-up biotechnology company in Cambridge, seeking an experienced automation design expert to lead the development of ground-breaking robotic systems.
The ideal candidate will have significant knowledge of robotics and automation design, as well as experience in setting design strategies and preparing products for manufacturing. The role involves leading development activities, designing robust mechanisms from the initial design phase through testing, and readying for manufacture.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, including monetary bonuses, 8% pension contributions, and other benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the development of innovative robotic systems, designing robust mechanisms, and overseeing testing and preparation for manufacture.
Collaborating with a research and development team to utilize mechanical engineering or electronics knowledge to solve complex problems.
Requirements
Well-experienced engineers with significant knowledge of robotics and automation design, preferably with additional experience in setting design strategies and preparing products for manufacturing.
