About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Student Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team at Victoria College of Arts and Design. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Student Health and Wellbeing Service, providing specialist insight on student Mental Health, Disability and Wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have experience in crisis intervention, risk assessments, and crisis management. They will also possess a strong understanding of current student mental health and wellbeing issues, as well as knowledge of external specialist agencies and online resources.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting students in their academic journey and has the skills and experience required to deliver exceptional support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Student Health and Wellbeing Service
  • Provide specialist insight on student Mental Health, Disability and Wellbeing
  • Create, maintain, and review systems and processes to ensure effective delivery of the service
  • Manage caseload and ensure compliance with relevant ethical frameworks and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate the College's response to complex student welfare cases
  • Establish and develop networks external to the university
  • Deliver wellbeing/health promotion and wellbeing strategy at VCAD
