About the Role:

As an Activities Coordinator, you will work closely with the Home Manager to develop and implement engaging activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and initiate monthly rolling and individual programs to promote socialization and community engagement among residents.
  • Encourage residents to maintain their pre-existing hobbies and interests.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities using relevant documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to ensure activities align with the care home's goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to develop and organize a range of events and activities.
  • Friendly, creative, and confident demeanor.
  • Genuine interest in working with the elderly population.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
