We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to provide a professional security service to our clients in Uxbridge.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, ensuring the well-being of our clients and their property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence
  • Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
  • Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
  • Secure all exits, doors and windows after the end of operations
  • Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
  • Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
  • Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
  • Provide assistance to people in need
  • Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before the arrival of authorities
  • Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a security officer or guard
  • SIA licence
  • Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
  • Familiarity with report writing
  • Excellent surveillance and observation skills
  • Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems
  • Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defence
  • Registered as a security officer
  • High School diploma is required

Working Conditions:

The Security Officer will work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays. The role requires flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £11.70 per hour, with an average weekly hours of 48 hours. The role is permanent and full-time.
