The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining order, monitoring entrances, and responding to alarms in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol premises to maintain order and presence
  • Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people
  • Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
  • Secure all exits, doors, and windows after operations
  • Check surveillance cameras periodically
  • Investigate people for suspicious activity
  • Respond to alarms and assess situations
  • Provide assistance to people in need
  • Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol
  • Submit reports of daily surveillance activity

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a security officer or guard
  • SIA licence
  • Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
  • Familiarity with report writing
  • Excellent surveillance and observation skills
  • Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems
  • Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defence
  • Registered as a security officer
  • High School diploma required

Working Conditions:

Flexibility is vital as you will be required to work days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Pay Rate: £11.70

Average Weekly Hours: 48 hours - 4 on 4 off days and weekend.

Employee Status: Permanent/Full Time
