About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Shift Vehicle Electrician to join our team at our Olive Grove Depot in Sheffield. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults, as well as carrying out vehicle servicing and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical systems, including engine management, automatic/semi-automatic gearboxes, electronic braking, suspension, electronic destinations, and multiplex wiring systems.
  • Carry out vehicle servicing and maintenance, including routine checks and repairs.
  • Be fully conversant with diagnostic equipment, including multi-meters, temperature gauges, micrometers, vernier gauges, and ECU diagnostic computer equipment.
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent (i.e., City & Guilds level 1 & 2) qualification.
  • Proven experience in vehicle electrical systems and diagnostic equipment.
  • Full PCV licence and forklift truck licence (if required).
