Global Franchise Lawyer at MasterCard

We are seeking a skilled Global Franchise Lawyer to join our team at MasterCard. As a Senior Counsel, you will play a vital role in shaping the company's legal strategy and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Your key responsibilities will include providing legal support for various projects, such as reviewing new MasterCard Standards, offering guidance on additional use cases, and managing the effects of regulation on our Franchise. You will also collaborate with legal colleagues and work closely with the Global Lead Counsel to develop and implement effective legal strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate contracts for various business engagements.
- Partner with Franchise Regional Leads to define standards and requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to shape and launch innovative products and solutions globally.
- Provide some legal support to Global Affairs, Compliance, and new customer types.
About You:
- A law degree from a top-tier university is mandatory.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in general commercial legal matters is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills, are necessary.
