About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Nurse to join our team at Velindre Cancer Centre. As a Research Nurse, you will play a critical role in the delivery of early phase clinical trials, working closely with our research team to provide patients with access to innovative treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the delivery of early phase clinical trials, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Implement research protocols, working closely with the research team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Promote clinical trials and create awareness of Velindre Clinical Trials Unit, highlighting the importance of early phase research in cancer treatment.
Requirements
  • 1st Level Registered Nurse with evidence of continued professional development.
  • Post-basic qualification in Cancer Care/Research or willingness to work towards.
  • Knowledge of the research process and regulatory requirements ICH-GCP.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Clinical Research Qualification.
  • Teaching qualification.
  • ECDL.
  • Phase 1/2 trial experience.
  • ITU/HDU experience.
