Dynamic Teaching Role

Foster a love of learning in a collaborative teaching environment, delivering a broad curriculum to Year 3 and 4 students. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our school community.

About the Position:

You will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the needs of both Year 3 and Year 4 students, promoting their academic, social, and personal development. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies for a mixed-age class.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Development: Develop and implement creative lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of your students, ensuring seamless integration with existing curriculum frameworks.
  • Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and record student progress, adapting your teaching strategies as needed to support individual learning needs.
  • Inclusive Classroom Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel valued and motivated to learn, adhering to our school's commitment to inclusive education.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student development, maintaining open lines of communication and collaboration.
  • Classroom Management: Effectively manage classroom resources and maintain a well-organized and stimulating learning environment, prioritizing student safety and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, with a strong understanding of educational best practices.
  • Teaching Experience: Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally with exposure to both Year 3 and Year 4.
  • Curriculum Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies for a mixed-age class.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
  • Commitment to Inclusive Education: Commitment to inclusive education and the ability to cater to a wide range of learning needs and abilities.
Estimated Salary:

£35,000 - £50,000 per annum, based on experience.
