Digital Archivist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Archivist to join our team at the University of Westminster. As a Digital Archivist, you will be responsible for the preservation and cataloguing of our archive using recognised professional standards and innovative digital methods.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a digital preservation strategy to ensure the long-term accessibility of our archive.
- Lead the cataloguing of our archive using emerging technologies and digital tools.
- Leverage our digital content to maximise outreach activities and create interactive experiences that bring fashion history to life.
- Optimise the AtoM archive collection management system to meet the evolving needs of our users.
- Provide support and foster connections with the research community and the wider public through digital platforms.
You should have experience in digital preservation, cataloguing or information management, and be comfortable with emerging technologies and digital tools. You should also be able to connect with people, whether through digital platforms or in-person, and be skilled at building meaningful relationships with users.
