Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at a leading manufacturer. The successful candidate will provide electrical and mechanical support and repairs for all production equipment and site services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide electrical and mechanical support and repairs for all production equipment and site services
  • Fix production machinery, mixers, industrial processing equipment, conveyors, automation and controls, PLCs, SCADA Systems, robots, and more
  • Support the engineering shift managers with project work – new machine and production line installs
  • PPMs, electrical and mechanical fault finding, problem solving, machine upgrades
  • PLC – electrical fault finding

Requirements:
  • Apprenticeship trained or a time-served engineer with mechanical and electrical qualifications
  • Must have previously worked in FMCG or packaging manufacturing
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault finding and problem solving skills
  • PLC – electrical fault finding
  • Experience of carrying out project work and new machinery installations
  • Experienced in planning and scheduling PPM work
