Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Asset Management Specialist to join our Housing Property Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering core business functions, including inspection, risk assessment, renovation, servicing, and maintenance of council-owned property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and project manage the rectification of properties, prioritizing repairs and adaptation work.
  • Ensure health, safety, and condition of council-owned dwellings through inspection of void properties and analysis of defects.
  • Manage, administer, procure, and supervise contractors delivering inspection, risk assessment, renovation, servicing, and maintenance to council-owned property.
  • Conduct surveys and inspections of council-owned property to diagnose repair defects and order effective remedial works.
  • Work with CBC's Contractors, placing orders for remedial works to void properties, managing the works, and attending contractor meetings.

Requirements:

  • Experience managing capital and revenue works ideally in a social housing environment.
  • Understanding of housing, procurement, project management, and budget management.
  • Ability to manage workloads to defined timescales on a range of projects.
