Job Title: 1:1 Tutors - Stockton/Billingham and surrounding areas

Estimated Salary: £24,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

We are currently recruiting tutors who can confidently support students with core subjects to prepare them for KS3 and KS4 exams.

Tuition sessions will be face-to-face, working with students either in home settings or community hubs/libraries. Ideally, you should have a driver's license.

Key Requirements:
  • A qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent; or a teaching assistant with previous tutoring experience.
  • Previous experience of planning lessons that meet the needs of individual students.
  • The ability to plan and deliver tailored programmes that complement ongoing class work, learning objectives, and assessment plans.
  • Delivering tuition face-to-face or online, adapting content, style, and format for effective results.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils and school contacts through session delivery, weekly review meetings, tuition progress reports, and feedback.
  • A minimum of six months tutoring or teaching/intervention/SEND experience with excellent references.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, effective tuition that engages your students.
  • Flexible hours to supplement studies or work/life balance.
