About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our Commercial Audit service line in Birmingham. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for a large portfolio of audit clients, solving complex technical matters, and overseeing and developing your team to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a large portfolio of audit clients, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of audit services.
  • Solve complex technical matters for clients, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Oversee and develop your team, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Take opportunities for wider department responsibilities, including training and pitching new projects.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA, or CIPFA) with post-qualification experience. You will also need to be confident in managing a large portfolio of audit clients and have excellent knowledge of UK GAAP/FRS102. Experience of managing audits of large companies, project management, and using audit software and Microsoft packages is also desirable.
