About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our Commercial Audit team in Birmingham. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for leading a portfolio of audit clients, solving complex technical matters, and overseeing the development of your team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead a large portfolio of audit clients, providing technical expertise and guidance to your team.
  • Solve complex technical matters, including audits of large companies and listed entities.
  • Oversee the development of your team, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering high-quality services.
  • Take opportunities for wider department responsibilities, including training and pitching new projects.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager with a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA, or CIPFA) and post-qualification experience. You will have excellent knowledge of UK GAAP/FRS102, project management experience, and extensive experience of using audit software and Microsoft packages.
