Dynamic Environment Engineer

Estimated Salary: £70,000 per annum.

We are seeking an experienced Dynamic Environment Engineer to join our team at Rullion. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing real-time algorithms for robotic systems to interact with dynamic environments.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience in robot programming, proficiency in Python and/or C++, and a degree in a mechatronic-related engineering field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Algorithm Development: Develop and refine real-time algorithms for robotic systems to interact with dynamic environments.
  • R&D Ownership: Take full ownership of innovative robotic systems from concept to delivery.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, software developers, and researchers to maintain, improve, and innovate robotics platforms.
Requirements
  • Degree: Hold a degree in a mechatronic-related engineering field.
  • Experience: Have experience of implementing and modifying computer vision/robotics algorithms.
  • Programming Skills: Proficient in working with Python and/or C++.
  • Attitude: Be pro-active with a can-do attitude.
Desirable Skills
  • Middleware Experience: Experience with middleware (e.g., ROS).
  • CAD/CAM Software: Experience with CAD/CAM software.
  • Component Selection: Experience in selecting components and designing electrical and pneumatic schematics for automation equipment.
What We Offer

Salary: £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Benefits include travel expenses, parking, hotels, and meals covered.
