Key Responsibilities- Deliver personalized nursing care to children with a range of conditions, including growth hormone and biologic treatments for conditions such as juvenile arthritis, Crohn's disease, and psoriasis.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs and develop tailored care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Administer a range of therapeutic interventions, including IV therapies, in accordance with agreed clinical pathways and within the scope of your practice.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records, adhering to relevant regulatory standards and protocols.
- Registered Sick Children's Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Competent in the administration of IV therapies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet changing service demands.
- Knowledge of therapies and drugs relevant to our service offering, including NHS knowledge relating to the management of patients with treated conditions.
