Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Head of Information Security to join our Senior Technology management team. The ideal candidate will have a methodical approach to risk assessments and security audits, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective security strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development
    • Maintain and develop the information security strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    • Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead a small team of security engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluation.
    • Foster a collaborative and co-operative work ethic, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
  • Resource Allocation
    • Collaborate with the delivery team to plan and allocate personnel, hardware, software, and services to ensure cost-effectiveness of the information security budget.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role, managing and growing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and influence stakeholders.
  • Understanding of relevant compliance for retail technology, including data protection and cybersecurity regulations.
  • Relevant security certification, such as CISSP, is a plus.
