About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Repairs Inspector to join our team on a short-term contract basis. As a Repairs Inspector, you will be responsible for planning and undertaking property maintenance inspections, liaising with tenants and residents, and providing technical guidance on building matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake property maintenance inspections to ensure that Council properties are safe and well-maintained.">
  • Liaise with tenants and residents to deliver an effective and appropriate service.">
  • Provide day-to-day advice and guidance on technical building matters, including damp and mould issues.">
  • Evaluate the quality and cost-effectiveness of responsive repairs works.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in the social housing sector.">
  • Proven supervisory experience in building maintenance works or workforce management.">
  • Excellent communication and customer care skills.">

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £38,000-£42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
