Senior Medical Strategist and Director of Therapeutic Area Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Strategist and Director of Therapeutic Area Expertise to join our team at EVERSANA INTOUCH. As a key member of our global healthcare agency, you will play a critical role in developing and executing medical strategies for international and EU projects.
About the RoleThis is a senior-level position that requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and experience in managing multiple priorities and timelines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide scientific direction and expertise on disease states, treatment categories, and clinical evidence in various therapeutic areas.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive medical strategies for global and EU projects, including search and analysis of scientific studies and clinical data, development of medical narratives, and creation of scientific content for promotional and educational activities.
- Serve as medical lead for agency of record (AOR) and digital agency of record (DAOR) accounts, providing strategic guidance and support to clients.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of medical content and services, including accuracy of final deliverables in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Engage with clients, including marketing, medical affairs, and regulatory functions, to provide expert advice and support on scientific matters.
- Participate in virtual, hybrid, or physical meetings and workshops with external stakeholders, including clients, HCPs, and patient advocacy groups.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A medical degree (MD) or a bachelor's degree in biology/molecular biology/biotechnology.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within international/global healthcare agencies.
- Experience in Rx brand launches in global and EU markets, with a strong understanding of multiple therapeutic areas, including oncology, CNS, and rare diseases.
- Proficiency in English (native speaker), with the ability to communicate effectively in Italian and other EU languages (a plus).
- Nice-to-have: knowledge of digital health and digital therapies markets and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in producing high-quality documents and deliverables.
- Exceptional management of multiple priorities and time constraints, with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to rapidly acquire new knowledge in therapeutic areas and brands.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work harmoniously in medical and cross-functional teams.
