Job Summary:

The Information Security Analyst will work within the Information Security team and with the business functions to ensure that business assets are protected in line with the corporate information and cyber security program and to meet a key business objective of maintaining compliance and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor IT security technologies and controls, ensuring threats to business information are identified, logged, remediated and raised in a timely manner.
  • Research and communicate emerging threat actors/sources, zero-day exploits, vulnerabilities, malware, APTs and data ex-filtration methods.
  • Continually improve and automate threat detection, security operations activity and remediation procedures.
  • Perform technical vulnerability scanning, produce reports and act as the remediation advisory. Co-ordinate and lead vulnerability exploitation testing.
  • Participate in incident response, ensuring timely response actions and appropriate engagement of team members.
  • Perform root cause analysis of security incidents and participate in post-incident reviews.
  • Support the business in ensuring information security compliance with industry-recognized standards and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and NIST CFS.
  • Provide administration and support of the Information Security Management System.
  • Assist in the definition and testing of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity procedures.
  • Support internal and external audits relating to information security.
  • Own maintenance and creation of security dashboards, reports and metrics.
Requirements:
  • BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security or equivalent work experience.
  • Industry relevant Information Security qualifications (CISSP or CISM).
  • Hands-on experience in IT administration, IT operations, and IT security, coupled with specific exposure to Information Security/Cyber Security.
