Job Title: CRM Product Owner - Fund Classification Specialist

Bloomberg is seeking a skilled CRM Product Owner to lead the classification of investment strategies for our clients. As a key member of the Data team, you will be responsible for owning the process of classifying funds built on the terminal, reviewing existing classification hierarchies, and developing a strategic plan for future improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive data strategy for a dataset, ensuring high-quality fund classification outputs.
  • Design and implement fund classification structures and hierarchies within the Data Product.
  • Establish product thinking to provide the right capabilities to consumers at the right time.
  • Engage with market participants and internal product partners to identify client needs and trends.
  • Outline strategic plans for development of current systems to meet customer needs.
  • Liaise with other departments to improve relevant product databases.
  • Assist the client support help desk with raised client inquiries and upskill clients through training and calls.
  • Report on results of ongoing operations and projects, producing metrics that measure business impact and success.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree or higher in a relevant data technology field, or equivalent professional work experience.
  • 4+ years' experience in Data Product Ownership or a related field.
  • Experience working in the funds or asset management space, particularly in investment objectives setting and management.
  • Proficiency in English and any other European language skills for reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Effective project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks accordingly.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or certification such as a CFA charter holder or CAIA.
  • Experience in customer service or client relationship management.
  • Knowledge in information technology and statistical analysis or computer programming, such as Excel, SQL, and/or Python.
