Principal Engineering Surveyor Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Engineering Surveyor to lead our infrastructure team in delivering the A47 road improvement scheme from Skanska UK Plc.
The successful candidate will be based on-site with initial work at our office in St Neots followed by a transfer to our office in Thurrock.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Chief Engineering Surveyor and/or Engineering Survey Manager across technical work streams, ensuring project objectives are met efficiently.
- Develop and mentor the engineering survey teams to meet project needs, driving excellence in service delivery.
- Maintain a comprehensive survey control network to fulfill construction requirements, guaranteeing accuracy and precision.
- A Land Surveying or Engineering Surveying degree or ONC/B Tec in a related field, accompanied by prior experience as a Senior Engineering Surveyor.
- Detailed knowledge of survey instruments, software, and working methods, enabling effective deployment and management.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of business principles, facilitating informed decision-making.
We offer an estimated salary range of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience, and a competitive benefits package, reflecting our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent in the industry.
