Imaging Nurse Career Opportunity
We're seeking experienced Imaging Nurses to join our team at Sanctuary Personnel Ltd in Bermuda. As an Imaging Nurse, you'll have the opportunity to work in a variety of diagnostic procedures, including Radiology, CAT scans, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, Bone Density, and Cardiac Diagnostic Unit.
About the Role:
You'll be responsible for assisting with diagnostic procedures, providing patient care, and maintaining inventory of necessary supplies. You'll also plan patient care within the department and hospital environment using your expertise in Nursing, Diagnostic Imaging, and Cardiac Diagnostic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic Procedure Assistance: Prepares for and assists during various diagnostic procedures across different departments.
- Patient Monitoring and Care: Provides comprehensive care and monitoring pre, peri, and post-procedure in the prep/recovery unit.
- Pharmacology Expertise: Understands medications and contrast media used in Diagnostic Imaging.
- Inventory Management: Develops and maintains inventory of necessary supplies.
- Care Planning: Plans patient care within the department and hospital environment using expertise in Nursing, Diagnostic Imaging, and Cardiac Diagnostic procedures.
- Health Education and Teaching: Provides relevant health education and procedural teaching to patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
Requirements:
A minimum of two years' experience as an Emergency/Critical Care Nurse, three years in Post Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and two years of experience in Intravenous (IV) Therapy are required.
A Critical Care Certificate and IV Therapy Certification are also required.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000 per annum based on qualifications and experience.
