Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Planning and Enabling Manager to join our Southern Development Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning and delivering homes on public land as part of new and expanding communities.



Job Description: As a Planning and Enabling Manager, you will use your expertise to secure planning permissions and guide implementation to create successful new communities where people want to live. You will work closely with key stakeholders, communities, and a professional team of built environment professionals to deliver strategic projects around the south of England.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Secure planning permissions for new developments

Person Specification:




  • Educated to degree level or equivalent within the planning and property development fields
  • Good understanding of house building, place making, and community development
  • Experience of instructing/interpreting outline planning permissions, negotiating and implementing s106 agreements
  • Good project management skills and ability to manage colleagues and consultants
