Job Title: Site Manager - Recycling Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the daily operations of our recycling facility in Tiverton, Devon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing and output of recyclable materials, while maintaining high safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the recycling facility, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve processing efficiency and output.
  • Manage and motivate a team of staff to achieve high performance levels.
  • Monitor and control staffing levels to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Site Manager, Foreman, or Supervisor in a waste management or recycling environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety, environmental, and quality standards.
