Project Cost Manager

We seek an experienced Costing Accountant to join our team at Office Angels, a well-established leader in the construction industry.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing accurate cost estimates for projects, collaborating closely with senior staff, supervisors, and other team members.
Main Duties:
- Create comprehensive cost estimates, factoring in materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Collaborate with team members to collect necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Evaluate project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential cost overruns.
- Verify and validate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
- Keep up-to-date records of historical project performance and cost data.
- Closely monitor and track project expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints and quick identification of any discrepancies.
Key Requirements:
- In-depth understanding of construction projects and associated cost factors.
- Proficiency in using specialized estimating software and Microsoft Office applications (notably Excel).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet stringent deadlines.
Compensation and Benefits:
- A competitive annual salary range of £55,000 - £65,000, contingent upon experience.
