We are seeking an experienced and skilled Residential Home Leader to join our team at Field View Care Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our modern and spacious detached children's home in Birmingham. This unique mental health service provides specialist care for young people aged 8-17 with complex needs.

The successful candidate will have previous experience managing similar-sized children's homes and will possess the skills and qualifications necessary to provide exceptional care. They will oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring the highest standard of care is maintained. Salary up to £60K + bonus.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage staff and resources to deliver a positive living experience for residents.
  • Oversee the care, safety, and development of all residents.
  • Monitor staff work practices and review their effectiveness.
  • Attend training opportunities as required.

Key requirements include:

  • Experience working with children with mental health issues and challenging behaviors.
  • Childcare standards knowledge and experience.
  • Management training and experience.
  • Social care qualifications.
  • Equal opportunities and diversity models knowledge.
  • Up-to-date childcare laws knowledge.
  • Ofsted requirements knowledge.
  • Evidence of Ofsted inspections.
  • Satisfactory DBS check.
