CDW UK is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Contingent Workforce Management team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of hiring and managing contingent workers, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, and optimizing agency engagement.
This role requires a deep understanding of contingent workforce management, including UK IR35 compliance, MSP implementation, and agency relationship management. You will coach and guide line managers, enforce hiring policies, and maintain up-to-date records of agency performance.
As a leader, you will foster continuous improvement, ensure rigorous due diligence processes are in place for all contingent worker requisitions, and lead a team of professionals in achieving our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of current policies surrounding hiring of contingent workers, including IR35 compliance.
- Provide strategic guidance and coaching to line managers on contingent workforce management best practices.
- Form and manage Preferred Supplier Lists (PSL) for agencies, ensuring compliance with CDW UK's policies and procedures.
- Conduct due diligence and credit checks on candidates, ensuring the integrity of our hiring process.
- Lead the team in continuous improvement, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve in contingent workforce management.
- Extensive experience in contingent workforce management and recruitment.
- Strong knowledge of current policies related to contingent worker hiring, including IR35 compliance.
- Experience in forming and managing PSLs for agencies.
- Understanding of Managed Service Provider (MSP) models and their implementation.
- Proven ability to conduct due diligence and credit checks on candidates.
- Leadership experience with a track record of team management and process improvement.
