Job Title: Contingent Workforce Team Lead

CDW UK is a leading technology solutions provider to business, government, education, and healthcare organizations in the UK. We are seeking an experienced Contingent Workforce Team Lead to oversee the end-to-end process of hiring and managing contingent workers, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and optimizing agency engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of contingent workforce management, including UK IR35 compliance, MSP implementation, and agency relationship management.
  • Coach and guide line managers on hiring policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with CDW UK's policies and procedures.
  • Lead a team of contingent workforce management specialists, fostering continuous improvement and ensuring rigorous due diligence processes are in place for all contingent worker requisitions.
  • Form and manage Preferred Supplier Lists (PSL) for agencies, ensuring a clear articulation of typical terms and profit margins for each agency.
  • Prepare needs analyses for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and conduct credit checks on suitable candidates.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with agencies, negotiating profit margins and ensuring compliance with CDW UK's policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the interview process for contingent workers, providing guidance and coaching to line managers.
  • Communicate and enforce policies surrounding hiring contingent workers, ensuring compliance with CDW UK's policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in contingent workforce management and recruitment.
  • Strong knowledge of current policies related to contingent worker hiring, including IR35 compliance.
  • Experience in forming and managing PSLs for agencies.
  • Understanding of MSP models and their implementation.
  • Proven ability to conduct due diligence and credit checks on candidates.
  • Leadership experience with a track record of team management and process improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate agency performance and refine hiring strategies.
