Job Overview

Emsworth Yacht Harbour Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Deputy Marina Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the marina, including managing berths, waiting lists, and customer communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for marina users
  • Manage berth and waiting list allocation to maximise occupancy
  • Oversee office operations, including invoicing, customer communications, and visitor management
  • Work closely with the Marina Manager to establish budgets and manage expenditure
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including Health and Safety and GDPR
  • Manage marine-related commercial tenants and property assets
  • Develop and implement environmental initiatives
  • Lead and manage staff to ensure high levels of productivity, welfare, and development

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a marina or leisure marine industry role
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to deliver excellent results
  • Experience in managing people and teams
  • Knowledge of boat yard operations and maintenance
