Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and dynamic individual to join our team as a Deputy Marina Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our marina, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to our marina customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Manage berth and waiting list operations to maximize annual berth occupancy.
  • Oversee the work of the harbour office, including timely invoicing, customer communications, and visitor management.
  • Collaborate with the Marina Manager to establish the overall budget and manage expenditure.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including Health and Safety and GDPR.
  • Manage property assets, including communication with tenants and repairs/renewals.
  • Develop and oversee environmental initiatives.
  • Lead and manage staff to ensure staff development, welfare, and productivity.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a marina or leisure marine industry.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with a diverse range of customers.
  • Experience in managing people and teams.
  • Knowledge of boat yard operations and management.
