Job DescriptionWe are seeking a proactive and dynamic individual to join our team as a Deputy Marina Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our marina, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional customer service to our marina customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Manage the berth and waiting list to maximize annual berth occupancy, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the work of the office, including timely invoicing, communications with customers, and management of visitors.
- Collaborate with the Marina Manager to establish the overall budget and take responsibility for expenditure, up to a discretionary level.
- Manage the boatyard operations, including bookings management and service delivery efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including Health and Safety and GDPR.
- Manage property, including communication with tenants, repairs, and renewals to existing assets, and assist with planning and delivering the ongoing development of the site.
- Develop and oversee environmental initiatives.
- Manage staff to ensure staff development, welfare, and productivity.
- Relevant experience in the marina or leisure marine industry.
- Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
- Experience managing people and teams.
- Experience of boat yard operations.
