Business Development Specialist

As a key member of the Finance team at MLL Telecom Limited, this role is crucial in delivering high-quality financial information that links operational performance to monthly financial reporting.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual studying for an accountancy qualification to develop their skills and knowledge in financial analysis and reporting.
The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Finance Business Partner in preparing accurate month-end reporting, budgeting, and processing key financial inputs.
The role involves collaborating with stakeholders across the business, requiring excellent communication skills and regular travel to our Silverstone office.
Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of monthly accounting and project reporting is essential.
Key responsibilities include producing monthly management accounts for various projects, creating commentary for the monthly reporting pack, and supporting operations in finance tracking.
Additionally, this role involves performing detailed reviews of project Work In Progress balances to ensure clean ledgers and working closely with Project Managers to identify expenses that can be charged to customers.
Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and X-Lookups, are required, as well as a proficient understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.
Effective communication with non-finance colleagues about financial issues is essential.
