Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a busy and passionate CMHT based in Swansea as a Healthcare Support Worker.

The post holder will be required to work as part of a team providing support to patients in receipt of Secondary Care Mental Health Services.

Main Duties of the Job

The role will involve supporting qualified staff in facilitating various clinics, such as Clozapine, Lithium, and physical health monitoring clinics.

Post holders will also be involved in some administration work related to booking clinics and engaging with a caseload under direct and indirect supervision from registered staff.

Detailed Job Description and Main Responsibilities

There will be the opportunity to work collaboratively with the Multi-disciplinary team to ensure maximum benefits to patients/residents using a patient-centred approach to care.

Person Specification
  • Minimum of QCF Level 3 in Health or willingness to complete in an agreed timeframe.
  • Evidence of attendance at courses/study days pertinent to the speciality.
  • Evidence of competence assessment in administration of Buccal Midazolam.
