About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector to join our team at Héroux-Devtek. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Create, manage, and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in accordance with AS9102.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company procedures.
  • Conduct visual inspections of customer components to drawings and specifications.
  • Perform dimensional and documentation inspections on incoming parts and outgoing products.
  • Participate in Root Cause Failure Mode investigations.
  • Document product quality issues and concerns.
Requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to operate as an effective team member.
  • A self-motivated approach and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills and abilities through on-the-job training.
  • Knowledge of AS9102.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Experience as a final inspector in a manufacturing organization.
  • Strong background in Quality Inspection, Metrology, and CMM.
  • Ability to operate CMMs and/or Faro Arms.
